Is this The Onion? A failed stand-up comedy routine? An alternate dimension? Because in what world does a column like Pete Whalon’s exist? “Letting Off Steam“ For Men Only, who don’t mind the “firing squad” was an unbelievably insulting piece that left my (“dolls, I mean girls, uh, wom[a]n’s”) jaw on the floor. You should be ashamed of yourselves – this drivel must have been approved by someone at the Culver City News, right? What an embarrassment. What a disgusting, distasteful, disappointing thing to see in my local paper. Do better. Hold yourselves to higher standards. And if you need columns not written by/for Neanderthals, let me know – I wouldn’t even need to be “really drunk” to do it.
