At approximately 3:20 p.m., Happyland Preschool located at 4045 Lafayette Place, received a bomb threat. CCPD Officers responded and evacuated the school, along with neighboring residents. With the help of police bomb sniffing K-9’s, the area was deemed safe and the call determined to be a hoax. CCPD detectives are currently investigating the origin of the call.
