Car Burglary

On Feb. 4 at 6:55 p.m., a victim called the police department to report that her 2004 Toyota had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the area of Jefferson Boulevard and Hetzler Road at 2:50 p.m. When she returned at 3:30 p.m. she discovered rear door wing window had been smashed out and her property missing.

Vandalism

On Feb. 5 at 1:25 p.m. a victim called the police department to report that unknown suspect(s) had broken out her car’s passenger window. The victim said she parked and locked her 1978 Ford Mustang in the 5400 block of Kinston Avenue on Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. When she returned on Feb. 5 she discovered the damage.

Commercial Robbery

On Feb. 5 at 7:51 p.m. officers responded to the 11900 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she was working when she was approached by the suspect who told her don’t move and produced a handgun. The suspect then demanded her to open her cash drawer. Fearing for her safety she gave the suspect the property. The suspect then fled the location. The suspect was described as a female Black, 20-30 years of age, 5’5 to 5’9, wearing a hooded black sweatshirt.

Assault

On Feb. 6 at 10 p.m., a victim called the police department to report he was a victim of a battery. The victim said he was in the 5400 block of Dawes Avenue at around 9 p.m. when he was approached by the suspect and began to have a verbal argument. The suspect then pushed the victim two to three times in the chest. The victim then left the location.

Stolen Vehicle

On Feb. 7 at 7:10 a.m. officers responded to the 8600 block of Higuera Avenue regarding a stolen motorcycle investigation. The victim told the officers the following; he parked and locked his 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle on Feb. 6 p.m. When he returned the next morning his motorcycle was missing. No one had permission to take the motorcycle.
