The Culver City Police Department issued a statement on Monday stating that, at about 11:13 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, they responded to a call about a family disturbance at 5000 Block of Showboat Place.
“Officers made entry into location and detained the juvenile suspect at the scene,” the CCPD said. “The officers located the victim in the residence and immediately began life saving measures by administering CPR.”
The Culver City Fire Department then arrived, and continued treating the currently unidentified victim. Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
“CCPD Detectives and Forensics were called to the scene to further investigate,” reads the press release.
