Tom Zehnder and Tim Gibbs Zehnder play their guitars at the block party. Rev. Wattman Rosenau of the CC Presbyterian Church said, “We just want to be good neighbors. With the Habitat project coming in on our block, we have a great opportunity to get to know our current neighbors as well. In so many people’s minds, the term “affordable housing” comes with a variety of connotations. We just want to have a party and give people a chance to get to know one another. I am so proud to be raising my children across the street from Habitat for Humanity homeowners.”
