The family recipes have been passed down to Rochy, after much success of four Babka Paradise’s in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. (Gary Kohatsu) Merrill Lewis of Marina del Rey drove to Culver City to try Rochy’s Babka Paradise for the first time. The family business was opened by Rochy Begun on April 22 at Culver City Platform Mall. Rochy’s is open on Thursday’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Gary Kohatsu) Challah bread, babka and other popular Jewish baked goods are at the heart of Rochy Begun’s new Rochy’s Babka Paradise. The business is the West Coast branch of the popular Babka Paradise chain started in 2016 by Begun’s mother, Dina Polter. Rochy uses the finest ingredients, baked fresh from family recipes dating back generations.
