The family of Municipal Court Judge Harold I. Cherness congregates at the Memorial Parkway dedicated in his memory before the former courthouse in which he presided. Sunday’s dedication near the intersection of Overland Avenue and Culver Boulevard was highlighted by remembrances of Judge Cherness by friends, family and fellow workers, and included the unveiling of a sign at the parkway. The former Culver City Courthouse is now the site of the Mayme Clayton Library and Museum.
