Palms Elementary School showcased a Garden Gift during their ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Dec. 8 at the Palms campus located at 3520 Motor Ave.

In the spirit of the season of giving, the California-based makers of the LA VICTORIA® salsas and sauces unveiled the newly designed garden. The new garden is a gift to the school and surrounding community and will be used for new curriculum and other community based programs. The ribbon cutting was attended be local city and school officials.

Palms Elementary School was the 2014 recipient of the LA VICTORIA® Brand School Garden Makeover, an initiative that celebrates the company’s commitment to using quality ingredients in their salsa by harvesting and bottling their tomatoes in just 24 hours.
