Dear Editor,
Thanks for saying what needs to be said [in your July 14 editorial, Royal Pains]. The divine right of kings was indeed neither divine nor right.
My conclusion is that the sooner we quit celebrating ancient superstitions and cruelties, the sooner we can begin to live up to our full potential as humans – in short, to grow up.
