‘How to Live With Your Parents’ and more

HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS, TV series, filmed at Culver Plaza in front of the Culver Hotel on Tuesday, Aug. 21. “How to Live with Your Parents” is a new ABC TV series starring Sarah Chalke (“Scrubs,” “Cougar Town”) as a divorced mother who moves in with her parents. Produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.

COUGAR TOWN, TV series, filmed at the corner of Ince Boulevard and Krueger Street on Monday, Aug 20. “Cougar Town” the former hit ABC TV series has moved to TBS and the new season is to start airing early 2013. Courteney Cox stars as Jules Cobb in her Golden Globe® nominated role as a recently divorced mom in her forties facing the often humorous challenges of life’s next chapter.

JUSTICE FOR ALL WITH JUDGE CRISTINA PEREZ, the first bi-lingual family court TV series, shot Wednesday – Friday, Aug. 22-24, at 8500 Higuera St. This series stars Cristina Perez, an Emmy winning television personality, radio host, author, and lawyer. Network and airdates have yet to be released.

HELL’S KITCHEN filmed at a warehouse located at 8600 Hayden Place Tuesday, Saturday, Aug. 21 -25. Chef Gordon Ramsay will spice up the tenth season of FOX TV’s “Hell’s Kitchen” with 18 new competitors. These aspiring restaurateurs will brave Ramsay and his fiery command of the kitchen as he once again puts the competitors through an intense culinary academy.

DID YOU KNOW: The tall tower at the Veteran’s Memorial Building, 4117 Overland Ave., was originally constructed as a “tourist tower” of 122 feet, where one could view “the interior of practically every movie set in the city”. This was a reference to MGM Studios now Sony Studios.
