Girls learn beach volleyball in nine-week summer program

CCN

Culver Volleyball Club coaches Tanner Siegal and Eric Burns will mentor the inaugural sand volleyball program, June 23-July 18, for girls, ages 12-18, at the beach volleyball courts located at the end of Culver Boulevard, across the street from Del Rey Lagoon Park.

“The purpose of our program is to introduce the game to players who are new to sand volleyball, and to elevate the skill set of more experienced sand players,” said Burns, who, along with Siegal, coached volleyball at Culver City High School.

The clinics will further develop fundamentals and teach the concepts and game strategies associated with the sand game, according to Burns. An advanced court will be offered to players with sand experience.

Fees are $275.00 for the nine sessions, $140 for five sessions or $40 for one session.

Sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
