Crime Blotter

Grand Theft Auto:

On March 8 at about 10:30 a.m., the victim walked in to the station lobby and reported his vehicle stolen.  On March 7, just before midnight, the victim parked his 2003 Chevy Cargo van in the 6500 block of Green Valley Circle.  The victim returned to the area at about 9:30 a.m., the following day and his vehicle was missing.

Theft from Vehicle:

On March 6, at about 6:30 p.m., a victim called the station to report that someone entered her vehicle and stole her wallet.  She parked her 2003 Nissan Murano in the 4000 block of Lafayette Place, March 5 at about 11:30 p.m.  She returned to her car the following day at about 3 p.m. and learned that someone stole her wallet.  The victim did not remember locking her car doors.

Grand Theft:

On March 7 at 2:30 p.m., a victim called the station to report a theft that occurred at his place of business. The victim’s business is located in the 3800 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.  On March 6 between 8 and 9 p.m., the suspect cut the security cable attached to a cellular telephone and a notebook and removed both items. The suspects left the business with both electronic items.

Bicycle Theft:

On March 7 at about 4:30 p.m. a victim walked in to the station lobby to report that two of her bicycles had been stolen.  The victim parked her car in the area of Washington Boulevard and Cardiff on March 7 at about 3:15 with her bicycles were mounted on a bike rack attached to her car, but the bikes were not locked. She returned to her car 15 minutes later to realize that someone stole her bicycles.

Vehicle Burglary:

On at March 7 at 2:40 p.m. a victim called the station to report that someone broke into his car. The victim reported that he parked his car in the 11900 block of Washington Boulevard at about 1:30 a.m. on March 7.  The victim returned to his car at 2 p.m. to discover that his window had been smashed and an e-cigarette box removed.
