CCPD arrest bank robbery suspect

The Culver City Police Department announced via social media that an arrest has been made following a robbery at First Citizens Bank on Sepulveda.

A statement by the CCPD on Wednesday of last week reads, “Yesterday at 4:15 pm, Culver City Police Officers from our Special Enforcement Team responded to a call of a robbery that occurred at First Citizens Bank, 5573 Sepulveda Blvd. Officers arrived on scene within two minutes and learned that a subject robbed the bank of approximately $6,500.”

“Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area and located a subject matching the description walking in the rear alley, who was in possession of the stolen money,” they continue. “The suspect was positively identified and admitted to robbing the bank. He was arrested and booked at CCPD without Incident.”

The statement concludes by congratulating the officers involved for keeping the city safe.
