Build-A-Bear asks what IF?

In collaboration with new animated Paramount Pictures movie IF, which is about imaginary friends brought to life, the Build-A-Bear store aims to do the same through an “immersive Workshop experience, exclusive merchandise, and a bespoke Heart Ceremony crafted by John Krasinski himself.” Krasinski, best known for sit-com The Office, stars in the movie.

A representative for Build-A-Bear told the News that there is an IF store takeover at the Workshop located at Westfield, Culver City, running from now for the next four weeks. This will involve prominent IF signage and graphics in the front window, and throughout the entire process of making a new furry friend.

In addition, Bear Builders will wear IF-themed aprons, and the store will feel like guests stepped into a scene from the film as they make their new Imaginary Friend. The heartwarming message that is central to the experience will be displayed: ‘Imaginary Friends Made Here,’ resonating with the film’s theme of friendship and wonder. It’s the perfect way to bring a piece of the IF world home forever!

All ages are welcome, from kids to adults and, while there isn’t an entrance fee, everyone is welcome to purchase their own furry, imaginary friend.

Build-A-Bear is located at 6000 Sepulveda Blvd., Space D3, Culver City 90230. Contact 310-754-2619 or visit buildabear.com.
