ATM robbery at Chase Bank

In the early hours of Monday, Aug. 8, at approximately 1:35 a.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint at the Chase bank located at 5770 Sepulveda Blvd., after using the ATM.

A statement from Culver City PD reads, “Upon the officer’s arrival, they learned that the victim had just withdrawn money from the ATM when he was approached by the suspect who produced a black handgun and demanded his cash. After taking the money, the suspect ran towards Sprouts Market and out of view.”

The suspect took $400, and had a black semi-automatic handgun. He is described as, “Male Black, 20 years old, 6’0”, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a surgical mask.”
