Members of the Culver City Police Department and Culver City Fire Department line up in front of the flag at Culver City Fire Station No. 1 on Wednesday morning for the lowering of the American flag to half staff in honor of the men and women who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001. After a minute of silence remembering when the towers fell, the flag was lowered as “Taps” was played.
