Due to an ongoing construction project, the City Council Chambers are not available as a meeting venue.
During the 15-week con-struction period, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of March, the City Council and all other bodies upon which the Council Members serve – such as the Successor Agency to the Culver City Redevelopment Agency, is scheduled to meet in the Rotunda Room at Veterans Memorial Building located at 4117 Overland Ave.
The City’s four Commissions, the Oversight Board, and the Committee on Permits and Licenses are scheduled to meet in the Patacchia Room located at City Hall.

Cultural Affairs Foundation presentes architectureTALKS
The Culver City Cultural Affairs Foundation presents a series of three architecture talks presented by internationally renowned professionals based in Culver City, architectureTALKS.
The first event is scheduled for Jan. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. and will be hosted at 8609 W. Washington Blvd. in Culver City. This event will feature award-winning architect Zoltan Pali, FAIA, founder and design principal of SPF:architects located on Washington Boulevard in the Culver City Arts District.
Proceeds from the series’ ticket sales will benefit tech-nical enhancements, such as lighting, sound, and projection equipment, for the Veterans Memorial Building Auditorium, with the intent of increas-ing public performances and film screenings at that venue.
This event will be moderated by architectural writer Thomas Aujero Small, Pali will discuss his work on creating the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Per- forming Arts in Beverly Hills. The recently completed and much celebrated “Wallis” transformed a classical Spanish Mission Revival United States Post Office with the addition of a stunningly modern, state- of-the-art concert hall and performance space.
A reception catered by Akasha is included. Tickets are $40 per person and admission is 100 percent tax deductible.
