Dominik Yoder plays Prokofiev, Piano Concerto, No. 3, at the Oct. 15 Parness Concerto Competition for 2017. Yoder won the Junior Division, which was for students ages 14 and younger. Winners in the Intermediate Division (ages 15-18) were Andy Park on the viola, and Victor Shluakhtenko on piano. The competition was held at the Steinway Piano Gallery in Beverly Hills, and hosted by store manager David Ida. Judges were Frank Fetta, Marina Manukian, Tania Fleischer and Chika Inoue.
