Culver City’s Veterans Memorial Auditorium was rocking Saturday night as the Angel City Derby Girls Rocket Queens hosted the Diamond Divas Rough Cuts. The Queens dominated the first half but the second period was owned by the Divas. The battle got fierce and came down to the wire, when the Queens pulled off a two-point victory, 100-98.
ACDG’s next bout is titled Greased Lighting! and features the T-Birds vs. the Pink Ladies. The themed event will pay homage to the movie. Grease Lightning! will be held April 23 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium at 4117 Overland Ave. in Culver City. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the game starts around at 8 p.m.
