The Culver City Police Department is releasing the attached sketch believed to be the suspect in an attempted child abduction case.
On April 22, at approximately 2:50 p.m. a female Culver City Middle School student was walking in the area of Farragut Drive, east of Overland Avenue when a green Ford Taurus pulled up to her, and the driver asked the girl for her name.
The suspect then leaned over, opened the passenger side door, and told her to get into the vehicle.
Fearing for her safety, the girl ran west towards Overland Avenue, and then reported the incident to a Culver City Teen Center Employee.
The driver was described as a Male White/Hispanic adult, possibly in his 30s, with a goatee.
