Monday, April 16, the cast and crew from “Master Chef” filmed a promo for it’s upcoming second season, which stars Chef Gordan Ramsey, at Smashbox studios, 8549 Higuera St. In this reality series, one hundred of best amateur cooks in America compete for a life-changing grand prize. Season two of “Master Chef” premieres Tuesday, May 29 on FOX.
Wednesday – Friday, April 18 -20, a Honda commercial will be filming at the Miller Honda dealership at 9055 Washington Blvd.
Thursday and Friday, April 19 and 20, “We The People With Gloria Allred” is filming inside 8500 Higuera St. Gloria Allred brings her controversial style to the courtroom as she presides over cases large and small. It airs at 2 p.m. Monday – Friday on NBC.
Friday, April 20, you’ll see Star Wagons parked along Parcel B on the closed section of Washington Boulevard in front of the Culver Hotel. They’ll be in place for the filming of an upcoming scene in “Touch,” the new FOX TV series, starring Keifer Sutherland. “Touch” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on FOX TV.
Friday night, April 20, a party for the cast and crew of “We The People With Gloria Allred” will take place at Rush Street, 9546 Washington Blvd.
TRIVIA: Culver City has a starring role in the upcoming film, “Think Like a Man.” The upcoming Sony Pictures Entertainment, Screen Gems movie is a romantic comedy based on a bestselling book by comedian Steve Harvey. The film prominently features several popular eateries, including Rush Street on Washington Boulevard and Akasha and L’Epicerie on Culver Boulevard. Look for Culver City High School, where one of the characters, played by comedian Kevin Hart, challenges Metta World Peace and other Lakers basketball players to a pickup game. “Think Like a Man” is scheduled to open in theaters Thursday, April 19.
