On Location in Culver City

The new hit FOX TV series “Touch,” starring Keifer Sutherland is filming scenes at several locations this week. Starting on Thursday, with cast and crew shooting all day at a residence located at 4252 Mentone Ave., from 5 a.m. – 7p.m. Then on Friday they will be filming simultaneously at two locations in the city. At a residence on Krueger Street and an office building at 9920 Jefferson Blvd from 7 a.m. -10 p.m.

“Touch” is about a widower’s quest, played by Keifer Sutherland, to connect with his autistic son, played by David Mazouz, leads to the discovery that the boy’s compulsive lists of numbers turn out to be a code which, if deciphered, can predict future events. “Touch” airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. on FOX TV.

TRIVIA: Did you know that Culver City’s Main Street is the Guinness World Record for “World’s Smallest Main Street? That’s correct. Culver City’s Main Street is just one city block long with a total length of 350 feet. Here’s another interesting fact, just 220 feet of Main Street are in Culver City. The remaining 130 feet are in Los Angeles. Although small in size it’s a big star as it continues to make numerous appearances in many films and television shows dating all the way back to the days of “Laurel and Hardy.”
