Today is April 8, Election Day

The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

Ballot counting begins after the close of polls.  The central couting place is in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers located at Culver City City Hall – 9770 Culver Boulevard – Culver City, CA  90232.

Semi-Official Results will be available in three different places:  (1)  LIVE at the Mike Balkman Council Chambers;  (2)  LIVE Via the City’s Cable TV Channel – CCTV 35 (Channel 37 on AT&T and 99 on Verizon FiOS); and (3) SLIGTHLY DELAYED Via this Webpage.  Semi-Official Results will be updated as the ballots arrive from the polls and are counted.  Please allow up to 30 minutes from the time of counting for the results to be available online.

Pursuant to State Law, Vote-by-Mail (VBM) and Provisional Ballots (PB) received via the USPS and cast at the polls on Election Day that are received by the close of polls are valid and must be processed.  VBM and PB are subject to signature verification which can take up to five business days to complete.  Please see the following notice regarding the “Second Batch Ballot Count” scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.:  Notice of Vote-by-Mail and Provisional Ballot Processing and Second Batch Ballot Counting.
