Food Truck Fest returns

On Friday, July 29, the Culver City Food Truck Fest is on once again. Last month, hundreds of community families and friends found their way to the Culver City High School blacktop to enjoy a gourmet feast of delectable delights from nine food trucks.

On hand to serve the hungry were: Go Country 105 Chuck Wagon (with B Sweet Catering menu), Komodo, Ahn Joo, Auntie’s Fry Bread, Da Burger Boss, Da Munch Box, Komodo, No Jodas, No Reservations and Nom Nom. The menus featured flavors ranging from American to Asian to Latin, appealing to the most discerning and exotic of tastes.

There is spacious parking for motorists through the Huron Avenue gate. Pedestrians may use the walk-in entrances at both the Huron and Harter avenue gates. Many families brought their picnic blankets and enjoyed the summer weather out of doors.

Comments made to Dave Sanchez, Culver City High School boys varsity coach were positive and encouraging, he said. He indicated that everyone was very happy with the food truck selection and were eagerly anticipating the next gathering.

The next event will be Friday, July 29, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The entrance fee is$2 per person. High school soccer players will be at the gate to collect the fee and be of service for directions. To make an additional donation, see a boys soccer coach on hand at the event.

New additions this month include Naan Stop, Cheese Ball Wagon, Me So Hungry, along with returnees, Da Munch Box, Go Country 105 Chuck Wagon and the debut of the B Sweet Dessert Truck.
