Yvonne Marestein of Culver City polishes her 1947 Chevy Fleetmaster at the Culver City Car Show May 12 at Veterans Park in Culver City. Marestein said the car belonged to her late husband, Albert “Tudy” Marestein, who died on April 29, 2018, at age 45. Tudy and, Yvonne met when they were 15 and were married for 26 years. They have four children: Briana, 21, Marissa, 19, Albert Jr., 9, and Omar, 7. Tudy purchased the Fleetmaster three years ago and restored it. He sold his 1968 Impala to buy this dream car, Yvonne said. This marks the 15th year for the Culver City Car Show, which was presented by the Exchange Club of Culver City and co-sponsored by Petersen Automotive Museum.
