The newly elected Board of Directors of the Culver City Woman’s Club met recently to discuss plans for the upcoming year, which include events to fund the club’s philanthropies.  The club awards scholarships to Culver City High School students annually.

Other recipients include the Culver Palms YMCA, Meals on Wheels and the Bob Hope USO at LAX.

Among the fundraisers will be the popular Ice Cream Social and the traditional Christmas Wrapping Booth at the Westside Pavilion.

The club also sponsors a number of social events throughout the year. Of special interest is a December bus trip to the Mission Inn in Riverside that is lavishly decorated to celebrate the season.

The public is invited to all events sponsored by the club.  For more information contact Pat Harmon at 310-670-2990.
