Crime Blotter for Sept. 4th through Sept. 10th

Car Burglary

On Sept. 4 at 1:50 p.m., a victim reported his 2000 Chevy Tahoe was burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle in the 2900 block of Sentney Avenue on Sept. 3 at 10 p.m.. When he returned the next day at 10 a.m. he discovered his property missing.

Street Robbery

On Sept. 5 at 12:30 a.m., a victim reported he was a victim of a robbery. He was walking in the 10700 block of Galvin Avenue to his vehicle. He saw a car pull up next to him and a suspect got out of the car and approached him. The suspect was holding a handgun and demanded his property. The victim fearing for his safety gave the suspect his property. The suspect then ran back to the car and fled the location.

On Sept. 6 at 9 p.m., officers responded to the area of Ince Boulevard and Lucerne Avenue. Officers met with victims who told them the following; they were walking south on Ince Boulevard when approached by three suspects. Suspect No. 1 displayed a gun and demanded their property, suspect No. 2 told suspect No. 1 to take the other victim’s property also. Suspect No. 3 acted as a look out and all three then fled the area.

Commercial Burglary:

On Sept. 9 at 6:50 a.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. Officers met with the reporting party who told — he locked and secured the location on Sept. 8 at 6 p.m., returned the next morning at 6:10 a.m. and discovered a window had been smashed out and property missing.

Stolen Vehicle:

On Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m., a victim came to the police department to report his 1999 Honda was missing. He parked and locked his car in the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard on Sept. 9 at 2 p.m., when he returned a few hours later his car was missing.
