Councilmember Jim Clarke spends time with the city’s fire department

Councilmember Jim Clarke was recently privileged to ride along with the fire department to experience what happens during a Culver City firefighter’s day. In the past he has been on a police ride along and was the first councilmember to go on a parking enforcement ride along and even helped to recover a stolen car. His future plans are to ride with a sanitation crew, street repair crew and a Culver City bus driver.

“This is a way for me to gain a better understanding of the great work our City employees do for all of us all the time.”  Clarke said. “We tend to take the excellent services we have here in our City for granted.  It is our workers who help make the City a desirable place to live and work and we do appreciate their efforts.”

Clarke is seeking reelection to the Council in the April 8 election.  He can be contacted by email clarke4council2014@gmail.com or go to www.clarke4council2014.com .  Join Clarke on facebook-Clarke4Council2014, and on Twitter @Clarke4Council.
