Cougar Town filming

Ms. Lori Fusaro,

I DARE you, in fact demand,  Ms. Lori Fusaro,  to publish this e-mail exactly as I write it today, instead of your  editing my previous e-mail of 8/24/12.  Perhaps it is time that Culver City residents knew that the Culver City New does not publish e-mails or letters to the editors in the EXACT words as received by their authors!  They leave complete lines out or edit other lines.   I wrote an e-mail to you regarding your newspaper publishing my address for Cougar Town filming.  I requested an answer from you to reconsider publishing home addresses for private homes used in filming  such as mine in our hometown newspaper.  I looked for an answer every day to my e-mail or home phone number (which I provided you)  as to what your policy would be and if you would consider changing your policy.   You never gave me the consideration of an answer.   I did not know writing a letter to the editor, who I thought was responsible for the  content of the newspaper  would be published.   Maybe I should have written the publisher instead.

Instead of any answer to your policy, you published my letter instead, but you edited it and left the most important line out.    That most important line is “This will discourage any other homeowners to allow filming at their homes, If you are going to publish their addresses”.    I have no problems with “Cougar Town”  as their staff and crew have been wonderful and I have welcomed them back to film at our home.   My only problem is with you.  You should not publish exact home addresses as we don’t want the publicity.  These are our homes after all, and not places of business.  Please reconsider your policy in this respect.

I want to encourage home owners to use their houses for filming, but the Culver City News should respect their privacy and NOT publish the home addresses.  So the decision is yours, do you care about your community or are you just another rag magazine who ignores their citizens?

I look forward to meeting you Ms. Loris Fusaro some day to see if you are really a person of integrity.  Let’s see if you publish this message, word for word, and not edited!!!
