Community holds vigil for Martin

Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace sponsored a Justice for Trayvon Martin, End Racial Profiling, vigil in Culver City in front of the Culver Palms United Methodist Church July 26 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m..

Members of ICUJP, the Culver-Palms United Methodist Church, and interested community members participated.

Signs bearing the image of 17-year-old Trayvon, declared Justice for Trayvon Martin; Abolish Racial Profiling: 17 and Unarmed; Zimmerman is Not innocent; No Justice, No Peace; Stand Your Ground is Murder.

            Drivers sounded their horns in support of the vigil, as they drove by the church.
