Mark Crawford, the facilities maintenance worker for the City’s Public Works Department, died early Sunday, Oct 14. He had been dealing with various medical issues over the past several weeks before his passing, sources said.
Crawford was known at City Hall for his helpful and friendly nature.
“He was always willing to provide assistance when needed and touched many of our lives in that way,” a fellow worker said.
“I personally will miss my discussions with him in the employee break room on City Council meeting nights, when he would stay late into the evening to make sure City Hall was secured after the meeting concluded.”
Services for Mark Crawford took place at Praises of Zion Baptist Church in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018.
