Belkin’s first store opens at Culver City Mall

“It’s a store without walls,” says Leah Polk, Senior Public Relations Manager of Belkin, as she quietly marvels at her surroundings. Indeed, the brand new tech store really is.

After a recent rebranding scheme, the technology company Belkin is proud and excited to open their first ever store at Culver City’s Westfield Mall. It’s an ultra-modern design with light wooden floors and sleek white tables. Wandering around the tech-filled tables, the sales team is interactive, friendly and helpful. Willing to answer any question, these sales associates, or brand ambassadors, have spent the last two months training for today, opening day.

For years, Belkin was just an online store with direct business partners, like Best Buy, Office Depot and Micro Center. After their rebranding, Belkin realized the importance of the customer, and through the stores,  the company wants to offer the “best experience possible” with supreme interactivity to boot. Following new mascot Pip’s name “People Inspire Products,” the company wants customers to see “how our stuff makes your stuff better.” This includes iPad kitchen products, routers, iPhone cases and other iOs accessories.

Future openings include other Westfield Malls, as well as the Metrion Mall in San Francisco.
