3 men arrested in liquor store break-in

Three men who police say vandalized a Culver City liquor store and stole an unknown quantity of alcoholic beverages led officers on a high-speed chase after the left to South Los Angeles before they were arrested.

Culver City police responded to an alarm at the BevMo store at 5634 S. Sepulveda Blvd. around midnight on June 11 when officers noticed three men getting into a van outside the store.

According to police, the suspects fled the scene and traveled at speeds ranging from 50 to 100 miles an hour as they tried to evade capture. They traveled on three freeways—the Marina (90) Sacramento (405) and Santa Monica (10) — before they stopped the van and fled on foot.

The Los Angeles Police Dept. used a helicopter to locate one of the suspects and the others were captured hiding nearby

Police have not identified the men, who were all arrested on suspicion of burglary.
