Culver City defeated Inglewood, 15-0, last week to keep the Centaur varsity baseball team unbeaten at 5-0 in the Ocean League. Coach Rick Prieto’s squad is busy this week with two games against Morningside, a make-up game at Inglewood on Friday and a final game of the Redondo Tournament against West Torrance on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Tyler Mark held Inglewood to one hit and three walks while striking out 13 batters in the Inglewood shutout. Nathaniel Matthews and Patrick Warfel each pitched a scoreless inning.

Brian Ibarra batted 3-for-4, Darian Sylvester went 2-for-4, and Daniel Hennessy and Tyler Mark were 1-for-3. All four players scored two runs.

Oaks Christian defeated the Centaurs, 4-2, in eight innings last Saturday in the Redondo Tournament.

Centaur starter Jay Sterner pitched three scoreless innings. Jacob Elliott later relieved Brian Ibarra, tossing 2 2/3 innings and no runs.

Daniel Hennessy, George Aceves and Skylar Blocker each had two hits for the Centaurs (13-8 overall).
