Nonprofit announces big hire Elizabeth Moss | Thu, Aug 04 2011 02:37 PM

Upward Bound House announced this week that they’ve hired a new director of advancement. Jaclyn Lantz will assume the post for the nonprofit, which finds permanent housing for homeless families. Her job will be to familiarize the community with UBH’s goals and to increase funding.

“During a time of increased demand for our services, it is imperative that we have the resources to meet the needs of our clients,” said David Snow, executive director of Upward Bound House. “Jaclyn will help us establish a sustainable funding structure which will allow Upward Bound House and its clients to thrive.”

Lantz began as a political fundraising consultant after getting a degree in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She went on to work for the American Red Cross Los Angeles as their director of development before moving into her current position.
