Culver City Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

The Culver City Police Department released a statement to say that it has arrested a suspect in an armed robbery that took place on March 3 at the 5700 block of Washington Boulevard.

“On March 12, 2026, investigative leads in the case, assisted by automated license plate reader camera system data, led members of the Culver City Police Department’s Crime Impact Team to the suspect believed to be involved in the robbery,” the statement reads. “Culver City Police located the suspect in the San Fernando Valley area.”

“During the operation, detectives observed the suspect entering a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle used during the robbery,” the CCPD continues. “Officers conducted a high-risk felony traffic stop, and suspect Jasahn James-Bacon McCluster, a nineteen-year-old from Los Angeles, was detained without incident and booked at the Culver City Police Department Jail for Robbery.”

According to the statement, “this arrest reflects the Culver City Police Department’s continued commitment to holding individuals accountable for violent crimes to protect our community.”
