    As part of Culver City’s celebration of the 25thanniversary of the Performing Arts Grant Program, Derek Gripper’s African string trio will be performing on Wednesday, March 13 at 8 p.m. the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, 6300 Hetzler Rd., Culver City. The evening will feature extraordinary transcriptions of kora legends Toumani DiabateÌ and BallakeÌ Sissoko. The trio will also perform original and classical works from Gripper’s oeuvre.
