The Culver City Sister City Committee plans its quarterly membership dinner on Wednesday, March 6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Culver City. Membership in CCSCC is not required in order to attend. The program for the evening will include an update of CCSCC’s activities and attendees are invited, but not required, to “dress up in attire representing one of our Sister Cites in Mexico, Japan, Korea, Canada or Italy.”

The Friends of the Julian Dixon Libarary will host The Actors’ Gang in a reading of “Mephisto” Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. at the Julian Dixon Library, 4975 Overland Ave., Culver City. A World War II-era play about a troupe of German actors, “Mephisto” has the Faustian story of an actor whose desire for renown leads him to pander to Nazi audiences. The Culver City High School Academy of Performing and Visual Arts will be holding performances of their Spring Musical from Thursday, March 7 to Sunday, March 10 at the Robert Frost Auditorium, 4401 Elenda St., Culver City.
