Starting this summer, in addition to finding the big ideas to reduce euthanasia in shelter animals, Michelson Found Animals’ Adopt & Shop plans to bring exciting and unique events to the animal-loving Culver City community. Adopt & Shop will host award-winning author Larry Kay’s book signing of his new “Life’s A Bark” book on Saturday, July 12 at 1 p.m.
“Life’s A Bark” describes ways dogs teach us about life, living in the moment, communication, curiosity, unconditional love, and more. The book also reveals how dog EQ (emotional intelligence quotient) is equal to, if not higher than, human EQ. When it comes to emotions and personality, we are more similar to our furry friends than we know.
Larry Kay has more than 750,000 dog-loving Facebook fans. He is the author of the No. 1 bestselling dog-training book on Amazon-Kindle, “Training the Best Dog Ever” and he created the “Animal Wow” dog care DVD for kids, which won five awards and was endorsed by the American Humane Association.
