As she advances through the ranks as one of the Rising Stars of the league—doing it with her signature smile—the Angel City Derby Girls recognize Stubborn Pup as Skater of the Month for September.
Helpful and kind, Pup is as dedicated on the track as she is off. She is always at local scrimmages to lend a healing hand. She is involved with ACDG’s Safety Committee and handles raffle responsibilities at all events. In addition she is an active member of the Sponsorship Committee.
But don’t let her sincerity and sweetness fool you—she is definitely a force to be reckoned with on the track.
A true team player, an instinctively good blocker and surely a future leader for Angel City, the league salutes Pup for her enormous heart and all of her hard work.
Come cheer for Stubborn pup and the rest of Culver City’s derby team at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium at their next bout, Saturday, Sept. 29. The Rocket Queens will take on the West Coast Derby Knockouts.
