Head coach Prieto leads summer baseball camp Mike Cohen | Sun, Jun 10 2012 11:59 AM

Following a season of unfulfilled aspirations for the league champion Culver City High School baseball team, the Centaurs will start anew preparing for next season in games against Loyola on June 18 and El Segundo on June 19.

A week later, head coach Rick Prieto and players will conduct a baseball fundamentals summer camp for youth in third through eighth grades, covering the skills of throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, bunting, base running and strategy.

“The low coach/player ratio ensures that each player will receive personal attention while having fun improving their baseball skills, said Prieto.

Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the five weekly sessions, beginning June 25. Fees are $135 for five days.

For more information, contact Prieto at (310) 842-4200 x6120, 310-842-4370 or email at rickprieto26@hotmail.com.
