Rams play two birds in two weeks

The first place 9-3 Los Angeles Rams will face the hardest part of their regular season schedule during the next two weeks when they battle two of the best teams in the National Football League. On Sunday they host the 10-2 Philadelphia Eagles at 1:25 and on December 17, they face the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle. Both games have playoff implications that include a battle for home field advantage.

Chargers continue climb toward playoffs

When the Los Angeles Chargers started the season 0-4 a lot of people said this was going to be another bad season for the Lighting Bolts. Inconsistent play at quarter, an unreliable defense and special teams that were not making winning plays proved to be their identity. What a difference a few months can make.

Centaurs come up short in CIF game

One of the hardest things in sport is winning a championship at any level. The Culver City football team found out the hard way when they were beaten by Covina 57-56 in overtime in an electrifying CIF semi-final game in front of a packed house inside the Jerry Chabola Stadium on the Culver City campus.

Centaurs have 1 team left in the CIF playoffs

The Culver City Centaurs are still in the CIF playoffs. Although the CIF Division 4 girls’ championship volleyball team was knocked out of the State Playoffs last Saturday night the football team has made it to the semi-final round of the Division 11 CIF playoffs.
