The Culver City Chamber was honored Monday afternoon at the annual California Legislative Conference by Alan Zaremberg, President/CEO of the CalChamber as one of 13 Chambers in the State of California for its outstanding business advocacy and commitment to assist businesses in the area of labor law through its programs of labor law posters and education.
"2008 was the inaugural year for the President's Circle Award and we are very proud of our chamber and its staff for this outstanding award," said Richard Hibbs, Chair of the Board.
Culver City along with only two other Chambers in Los Angeles County (Long Beach and the Greater San Fernando Chamber) was honored at the 83rd annual event. Only thirteen Chambers of almost 400 Chamber's in California met the criteria for the President's Circle.
The Culver City Chamber with 785 members and almost 90 years old is the authoritative voice of business in the Culver City area. Steven Rose, President stated that "The Chamber maintains a balance of programs that assists businesses doing business in Culver City, advocacy, education and networking makes our Chamber an important investment for any business."
