Nancy Goldberg has always acted in the interest of her students. I know this as a former student of hers as well as testimonials from family members (also former students years before me) and peers who just recently attended her class. Being part of a school board is not only a role of leadership, it is also a role in which members must be able to listen to the voice of the community. Although times have changed in the 30+ years Nancy has been in the field of education, the foundations have remained constant. Provide a safe and open environment for the benefit of the students. I believe Nancy will not allow the politics get in the way of what she knows to be the right move for our students. She exudes integrity, conviction and most importantly, honesty. From the inside out, I am confident Nancy can provide the much needed insight necessary to allow our schools to flourish and graduate students of the highest caliber.

I have worked with Nancy Goldberg for many years and she is a trusted advocate for students, she looks at them as a whole and supports them to be successful. I feel she would be a great asset as part of the CCUSD School Board because she would bring a practical approach when making decisions about the schools directions and policies.

Culver students and parents deserve a candidate as dedicated to their needs as Nancy Goldberg, a teacher with more than 4 decades experience in the trenches, She's dealt first-hand with the challenges posed by budget woes, the politics of shifting district priorities, campus security and maintenance concerns, and differing student and community needs. Her priorities - her student's academic and personal success. We enthusiastically support her as a much-needed advocate for parents and students on the CCUSD board.

I support Nancy Goldberg for her wisdom, honesty, experience, and HUMILITY, a welcome change from the status quo. Who is better qualified to represent students than a teacher who has spent 40+ years in the classroom, and who is highly respected by generations parents, students, and colleagues?

I will be voting for Nancy Goldberg because I believe she will consider what students need instead of giving raises to already very well paid top administrators.

The quality that distinguishes Nancy Goldberg from her opponents in this campaign is empathy. Over decades, she taught me and countless others one of the greatest lessons we can ever learn: to engage in meaningful dialogue in order to understand another person's position or culture. After witnessing and taking part in explosive political events in the district last year, I am convinced that the current board suffers from a lack of true empathy for its employees and students. Electing Nancy Goldberg will help move us past simple adherence to the status quo on controversial issues and to a district that values compassion and understanding.

I worked with Nancy Goldberg for more than 25 years. Her commitment to education and to the well-being of students is without equal. Like most good teachers, she knows how to listen and how to discern the truth. We need her on the school board.

Laura Chardiet has taken on leadership roles with minimal hours/support and her program has improved immensely and thrived.

Nancy Goldberg has always put students first. Being on the School Board is the right next step in her long career in education. She is the voice we need to understand how all the decisions the board makes are felt directly in the classroom. She is honest, passionate, smart and deserving of your support and vote. She has mine.

I have watched Scott Zeidman on the School Board for the past 3 plus years. He has a lot of integrity and the energy and intelligence to get important things done. We need to have him on the board for the next 4 years so he can help keep the district going in the right direction!
