Chief of Police announces retirement

Chief of Police Don Pedersen will be retiring from the police department after serving eight years as the Culver City Chief of Police and after a 30-year career in law enforcement.

Chief Pedersen has accepted the position of Assistant Inspector General in the newly created Office of Inspector General for Los Angeles County.

The members of the Culver City Police Department want to thank Chief Pedersen for his service, dedication and to his many accomplishments during his tenure as the department’s Police Chief. The Culver City Police Department also wishes wish Chief Pederson well and continued success as he moves forward in his new position.
