School Board President Scott Zeidman launched his campaign for another term on the Culver City Unified School District board on Saturday at the home of “Mr. Culver City” – Mike Cohen.

            Attendees included Mayor Micheal O’Leary, city councilman Andy Weissman, former mayors Alan Corlin, Steven Rose, Sandi Levin, David Hauptman and Steve Gourley – a current school board member – along with current school board member Kathy Paspalis and former school board presidents Madeline Ehrlich and Dana Russell, former City Treasurer Crystal Alexander, two dozen CCUSD students – in all, about 100 supporters turned out for the two-hour event.

            “It was a fantastic turnout,” Cohen said. “Scott has a really great support network and we’re excited for another term under his leadership.”

            Zeidman recently received endorsements from state Sen. Curren Price and Assemblywoman Holly Mitchell, who represent Culver City.
