Westfield Culver City hosts end of summer fun kickoff

Westfield Culver City will offer arts and crafts, public readings and snacks for kids aged two to five. Books “Chrysanthemum” and “Jessica” by Kevin Henkes will be read, followed by pencil case decorating, including a Westfield #2 pencil, to help kids kick off the school year.

“These kid-friendly programs integrate the family shopping experience with education, excitement, and empathy,” said Sarah Richardson, Westfield Culver City’s Marketing Director.

“Westfield Culver City is all about making life a little easier for moms and dads and a little more fun for kids.”

Parents should plan to bring their little ones to the Punctuation Station on Level one of the mall, in front of J.C. Penney. Kids will enjoy a small snack during the activities. Festivites begin at 10:30 a.m. on Aug 21.

Westfield also offers Family Amenities around the mall for the convenience of shoppers with small children. Amenities include a PlaySpace, Family Lounge, baby changing stations, and family restrooms.
