Wedded foodies keep on trucking | Thu, Jun 02 2011 10:52 AM

On May 19, Samir and Linda Sayegh celebrated 26 years of wedded bliss. To mark the occasion, Samir surprised his wife in a vow-renewal ceremony with a chaplain who operates a local gourmet food truck.

The Sayegh’s five children attended, along with other family and friends. The wedding was held at 5879 Washington Blvd., Culver City. The event was announced via Twitter and food truck followers were invited to witness the ceremony and enjoy the reception.

“It was amazing,” Samir said. “Linda was taken off guard.” He said that she cried all night and kept asking how he pulled it off. He added that the food was “amazing.”
