Start-up and small businesses can attend the 2010 Small Business Empowerment Expo starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 10 in the Fine Arts Building of West Los Angeles College, 9000 Overland Ave., Culver City.
Key business leaders will present a panel discussion on strategies to help small businesses survive and thrive in 2010, as well as the future.
Break-out training sessions will be offered to small business owners that will provide valuable information on “Marketing Your Small Business Online,” “Healthcare Tax Credit” and “New Employer Incentives.”
Attendees can meet representatives from various federal and state agencies, including the Small Business Association (SBA), California Board of Equalization, Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and many others.
Hosting this event are State Sen. Curren Price (D-Los Angeles), Quantum CDC, Wells Fargo and West Los Angeles College.
Price will also provide an update on current legislation pertaining to California’s support of small businesses.
