The storm that pounded Southern California last week delivered nearly a half-year's worth of rain to the Southland in a mere five days.
The storm delivered 7.96 inches to downtown Los Angeles, which averages 15 inches per year. The San Gabriel Mountains were hit in some areas with as much as two feet of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Damage estimate reports, road repair costs and other undetermined costs from local, state and federal agencies have yet to be compiled, but the National Weather Service is expected to compose an after-action analysis of the significant storm event.
The recent storms are widely considered the most significant to wallop Southern California since the winter of 2004-05.

We need to do some more rooftop shooting. This time way before sunset so we have more time. I'll bring a model too. :)
